TAXI SERVICE
Make your trip more comfortable and safer. Starting from June Lux Express offers possibility to order a taxi together with booking a ticket so that you can reach to your meeting on time without gadding around in the city and looking for exact house.
Passengers of Lux Express are able to book a taxi to Tallinn and Riga coach station and in Vilnius to Lux Express bus stop located next to Panorama shopping center.
Prepaid taxi service can be booked together with the bus ticket through website www.luxexpress.eu or from Lux Express sales offices in Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius, Klaipeda and St. Petersburg. The service is provided by Tallink Taxi Ltd in Tallinn, by Baltic Taxi in Riga, by UAB Merseros in Vilnius.
TAXI STOP
Tallinn: The place of departure of the provided taxi service is the taxi stop in front of the arrival terminal of busses located at the territory of the Tallinn Bus Terminal, which is indicated with the logos of Tallink Takso.
Riga: The starting point of the taxi services offered by Baltic Taxi is the paid parking lot at the side of incoming bus entrance on the territory of the Riga Coach Station, but the driver of the Baltic Taxi will also approach the arriving bus in order to meet the passenger with the taxi voucher and to take the passenger to the starting point mentioned above.
Vilnius: The place of departure of the provided taxi service is the Lux Express bus stop located next to Panorama shopping center.
ZONES AND PRICES
In Tallinn the service is provided within one zone – Tallinn city centre, price 80 EEK (5 EUR, 18 LTL, 3,6 LVL).
In Riga the service is provided within 2 zones: 1) Zone 1 City Centre, price 4 LVL (5 EUR, 19,5 LTL, 88 EEK); 2) Zone 2 Suburbs (area outside Zone 1 but within Riga city limits), price 8 LVL (175 EEK, 11 EUR, 39 LTL).
In Vilnius the service is provided within 2 zones: 1) Zone 1 City Centre, price 15 LTL (5 EUR, 70 EEK); 2) Zone 2 Suburbs price 25 LTL (7 EUR, 115 EEK).
NB! In case booking a return trip together with a taxi service at the destination city, there is a need to make two separate bookings with separate taxi booking. For example if the trip is from Riga to Tallinn and back but it is needed to reserve a taxi in Tallinn, first booking must be done on Riga – Tallinn route together with taxi reservation and then a second booking for tickets back from Tallinn to Riga.
For the passenger who has ordered a taxi service, a taxi voucher will be issued together with the bus tickets. The client using the taxi service is obliged to print out and forward the voucher verifying the purchase of the taxi service to the taxi driver.
